Exec delighted to welcome Business Focus event
The city’s largest business-to-business exhibition has chosen Exec as its preferred venue for 2011 – a decision which has delighted Exec’s recently-appointed Events Director Keith Dalton.
“Exec sits on the outskirts of Peterborough and is probably associated most with the showground, the home of speedway and the summer show, but it is so much more than that,” explained Keith.
“This is the region’s most versatile multi-purpose venue and we want to start shouting about that fact. It’s a great facility for the city and we want to encourage more businesses to make use of it. The decision to move Business Focus here in October is great news and an opportunity for us to showcase some of our wonderful conference rooms and exhibition halls.
“But we also have a bigger job to do for the city – we want to help put Peterborough on the map! We attracted 800,000 visitors to the city last year and we want to increase this figure significantly as we draw even bigger regional and national events to use this venue in the coming years.”
Business Focus will be staged in the Atrium at Exec on Wednesday October 12th. Bookings for exhibition space are already being taken through the chamber of commerce, contact Helen Bossett – h.bosett@cambscci.co.uk
